Toi Te Ora - Public Health Service aims to reduce the impact and incidence of tobacco related harm.  Designated Smokefree Officers hope to achieve this by:

  • Carrying out controlled purchase operations (CPOs) to identify retailers selling tobacco products to underage person/s

  • Inspecting licensed premises and workplaces to check for Smokefree compliance

  • Assisting organisations and individuals with issues around the Smokefree Environments Act 1990
