Early Childhood Centres
Toi Te Ora’s health protection officers inspect early childhood centres on a regular basis to monitor health and safety standards and ensure the children are immunised and protected from a communicable disease outbreak.
Early childhood centres, kindergartens, play centres, kohanga and crèches are required by law to hold a register that clearly identifies the immunisation status of all the children.
